In the early hours on Sunday July 2nd, Frederick City was alerted for a building fire in company 2 area. Engine 11 responded with 5 personnel to the scene as the 3rd due engine. Engine 23 arrived on scene and advised they had a smoke in the residence and sprinkler activation. During their size up it was realized there was a fire in the attached garage. Engine 11 arrived 2nd on the scene and assumed these responsibilities picking up the water supply for Engine 23. Engine 11 assisted in opening the garage door to gain access to the fire. Companies got a knock on the fire and did overhaul for about 2 hours. Solid work by all companies involved
